What is the Green Guide Network?
GGN seeks out what's fun, fresh, informative and necessary about living the eco-lifestyle and delivers to our audience just the way they want it: green, but never boring.
Looking for cool, hyper-local resources of where to shop, eat, work-out, recycle, build or just hang out? GGN has more than 6,000 listings in more than 13 categories in more than 40 cities and metro areas.
Need a job, but really want one in the green sector? GGN updates its pre-screened, eco-job board every day with listings from small and large companies across the country.
Want to be inspired? GGN interviews are one of our most popular features. In their own way, all are leaders in this green dream we're striving for. We talk to rock musicians and rock climbers, business leaders and business start-ups, community activists and world travelers.
What began in 2006 as the OC Green Guide, with little organization and lots of intention, has evolved into the Green Guide Network, a growing and active community with a unique online experience and keep them coming back day-after-day.
December 2009 - Thanks to everyone who supported GGN's Casey Cochran in his barefoot marathon charity effort in early December at the Santa Barbara International Marathon. He finished in 3 hours, 53 minutes. Want to see his television interview? Click here. Or a close-up of his dirty-feet? Click here.
November 2009 - The Daily Pilot
